Privacy Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026 · Draft pending legal review · Versly is operated from the United Kingdom and this policy is written with UK GDPR in mind.

What we store

  • Account data: your email address (and, if you sign in with Google, your Google account identifier), your handle and chosen avatar.
  • Game data: groups you belong to, bets and wagers you create, your credit balance and transaction history, and feed events.
  • Technical data: authentication cookies needed to keep you signed in, and standard server logs.

We don't collect payment details — there is nothing to buy.

Why we process it

To run the game you signed up for (contract), to keep the service secure and prevent abuse (legitimate interests), and — if we later show personalised ads — only with your consent, which you'll be asked for separately.

Who can see what

Your handle, avatar and game activity are visible to members of the groups you join and to other signed-in users viewing your profile. Your email address is never shown to other users. Data is hosted with Supabase; infrastructure providers process it on our behalf under data processing agreements.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. Delete your account and we remove your profile and personal identifiers; ledger entries needed for the integrity of other players' game history are anonymised rather than deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and you can object to or restrict processing. Email privacy@versly.ai from your sign-in address and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication only. If advertising cookies are ever introduced, we'll ask for consent first.
